The Tuition schedule is as follows

First deposit paid 01/01/21 thru 6/1/21 The total amount due is$ 875.00.

These rates are effective even if only a partial payment is made before the “rate change date”*
*Balance is due by June 1, 2021

Tuition covers Room, board & meals for the week. This includes linen and towels for your room, however, many students purchase their own amenities such as extra sheets, air freshener, toothpaste, etc… from a nearby store.

It does not cover:

  • Transportation to or from the airport
  • Anything outside of campus grounds
  • Any extra curricular activities.

Classes are divided by MODS (Modules) There are Five(5) Standard Mods and one After grad Mod (MOD 6).
One(1) MOD is completed Each year

Classes begin at 0800 on MONDAY morning
(all class times are general and vary by MOD)

Session 1 – 0800 – 1200
Lunch
Session 2 – 1300 – 1700
Dinner
Evening Lecture 1900-2100

All CLASSES ARE MANDATORY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Exception: Graduation for MOD 5 will be held on Friday during the Evening Lecture. You are not required to attend the graduation but,

At EDI, you will be learning to manage fire service personnel and situations. Therefore, firefighting gear will not be necessary.

No! Fire fighter Candidates, Police Officers, Fire Management personnel and others are all welcome to attend EDI’s courses

All reading materials will be in the form of handouts or as an online activity/reading. Occasionally, a guest speaker or instructor may suggest a book that may be helpful in your career management. We do not sell these books, but the speaker may have some on hand for sale.

Any refund request must be made in writing(via email) to support@edionline.net. A processing fee of 10% of the full tuition amount will be retained by EDI. The remaining funds will be returned to you

While we encourage you to make every attempt to arrive during the posted registration dates/times, there will be public accommodations available at Williams Hall until registration re-opens the following morning. You are responsible to contact the EDI Business Office via email PRIOR TO June 7, 2021 to make the necessary late arrival arrangements. The EDI Business Office contact email is: cregan@edionline.net

Registration dates/times are as follows:


Saturday, June 5, 2021 9:00a to 8:45p
Sunday, June 6, 2021 9:00a to 8:45p (will close from 3:00p to 5:00p for orientation and cookout)
Registration is in the Professional Schools Building (PSB) at Dillard University. Once you arrive to the campus, Security personnel can direct you.

No. While you are attending EDI, you must stay on campus. Only residents of New Orleans are exempt.

You must check out of your room by 12:00 on Saturday, June 12, 2021

No. You must attend every class (day and evening) for the entire week to receive your EDI certificate. In extreme cases, there may be an available online opportunity. This would cover a maximum of four (4) hours and the availability is subject to the approval of the EDI Executive Board.

Any absences not approved by the EDI board will result in forfeiture of the entire week.
