SAL Stands for “Students at Large”
These are students who previously graduated MOD 5 and return for refresher courses. They are allowed to attend any class (MOD 1 – 5), but must attend a class during each session.
The Tuition schedule is as follows
First deposit paid 11/01/2019 thru 4/15/2020 The total amount due is$ 875.00.
First deposit paid 4/16/2020 thru 5/15/2020 The total amount due is $1,025.00.
After May 15, 2020. A total payment of $1,175.00 is due.
These rates are effective even if only a partial payment is made before the “rate change date”*
*All Balances are due by May 31, 2020
** Registration Packets are limited and distributed in the order of last payment made. Please get your full payment in as early as possible to ensure that you receive the proper packet.
You must attend every class (day and evening) for the entire week to receive your EDI certificate. In extreme cases, there may be an available online opportunity. This would cover a maximum of four (4) hours and the availability is subject to the approval of the EDI Executive Board.
Any absences not approved by the EDI board will result in forfeiture of the entire week.
Fees include Room and board.
Only registrants currently living in New Orleans are authorized to stay off campus

Registration is in the Professional Schools Building (PSB) at Dillard University. Once you arrive to the campus, Security personnel can direct you.
While we encourage you to make every attempt to arrive during the posted registration dates/times, there will be public accommodations available at Williams Hall until registration re-opens the following morning. If you arrive after the Official Class starts, you will NOT be able to attend the semester. You will be entitled to your refund (according to our refund policy)
Any refund request must be made in writing(via email) to firstname.lastname@example.org. and must be requested prior to the first date of the upcoming semester. No refund request will be honored after July 1, 2020. (your payment will be automatically refunded minus the 10%).
Your tuition includes materials and accommodations that must be completed prior to your arrival, therefore, a processing fee of 10% of the full tuition amount will be retained by EDI. The remaining funds will be returned to you.

Tuition covers Room, board & meals for the week. This includes linen and towels for your room, however, many students purchase their own amenities such as extra sheets, air freshener, toothpaste, etc… from a nearby store.
It does not cover:
- Transportation to or from the airport
- Anything outside of campus grounds
- Any extra curricular activities.
It is about 15 miles (20 min trip) from MSY airport to The Dillard campus
via I-10 east and I-610 east. ( exit at Elysian Fields , make a left to Gentilly blvd, (and angled street) then make another left onto Gentilly and travel for 1/2 mile)
This is not the most direct route, but is the easiest way for someone who doesn’t have GPS
